Generic Information: Dipaite (Pazopanib) 200mg — China-Mainland

Dipaite (地帕特) is a domestically approved Chinese generic of the anti-angiogenic agent pazopanib, produced by Shanghai Acebright Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. — a Shanghai-based pharmaceutical manufacturer with a dedicated oncology portfolio. Each pack contains 30 film-coated tablets of 200 mg (0.2 g), the standard strength used in daily pazopanib therapy.

As one of the early domestic pazopanib generics to clear China's drug regulator, Dipaite has widened affordable access to first-line renal cell carcinoma treatment and second-line soft tissue sarcoma care. Its active ingredient and once-daily dosing match the imported originator, while its domestic price point sits far lower than the branded product.

What Is Dipaite Used For?

Clinicians prescribe Dipaite for two advanced malignancies. The first is advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC), where it is used both as initial treatment and after prior cytokine therapy. The second is advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS), reserved for patients who have already received chemotherapy. In both settings the goal is to slow tumour growth by cutting off its blood supply.

How Does Dipaite Work?

The active ingredient, pazopanib, belongs to the class of multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It selectively blocks several receptors that drive new blood-vessel formation — vascular endothelial growth factor receptors VEGFR-1, VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3, plus platelet-derived growth factor receptors PDGFR-α and PDGFR-β, and the c-Kit receptor. Starved of fresh vasculature, the tumour cannot keep growing.

Indications

  • Advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) — first-line and post-cytokine therapy.
  • Advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS) — following prior chemotherapy.

Dosage and Administration

Take 800 mg once a day — that is four 200 mg tablets swallowed whole, without food, at least one hour before or two hours after eating. A single 30-tablet pack lasts roughly a week. Hepatic function and blood pressure need checking because the dose is lowered in liver impairment.

Side Effects

The most frequent complaints are gastrointestinal (diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite), elevated blood pressure, fatigue and hair colour changes. A boxed warning flags the risk of serious liver injury, so liver tests run before and during treatment. Thyroid suppression, bleeding events and QT-interval prolongation are also possible — report yellowing of the skin, unusual bruising or an irregular heartbeat promptly.

Storage

Keep Dipaite under 30°C, sealed in its original packaging, protected from damp, and well out of children's reach. Do not use past the expiry date shown on the carton.

Why Choose the GLT?

GLT verifies every Dipaite batch against Shanghai Acebright's manufacturing details before shipping, and our China-based sourcing keeps costs close to domestic pricing rather than the originator's US list price. That translates into a materially lower total for long-term therapy, with full purchase documentation and a direct contact line for after-sales questions.

How many tablets make up a daily dose? Four 200 mg tablets, taken together once daily on an empty stomach, for a total of 800 mg.
